The Majestic America vessels are up for sale.
As of August, 2008, a buyer has not been named, so a schedule for 2009 is not available. We're hoping we’ll soon hear that a purchase has been made and the boats will continue cruising. The Delta Queen, as an overnight passenger vessel, is in jeopardy because she didn’t receive her exemption. Hopefully, new owners will want her to continue as she has for decades and be able to obtain the exemption.
